PRODUCT
Detail
A pentagonal prism is an optical prism with a pentagonal cross-section. After the light is incident on it, it undergoes two reflections and the direction of the outgoing light is precisely perpendicular to the incoming light (with a 90° deviation), and the image does not undergo inversion or reversal, maintaining its original direction. The reflective surface of this prism must be coated with a high-reflection dielectric film or a metal reflective film. If a wedge-shaped mirror is added and a beamsplitter coating is on the first reflective surface of the pentagonal prism, it can be used as a beamsplitter. The ratio of transmission to reflection (T/R) can be 20/80, 30/70, 40/60, 50/50, etc.
It is applied in fields such as surveying and measurement instruments, optical imaging and photography, laser processing and industrial inspection.
